Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 162 LeGrand Bordeaux Rollerball Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box (some marks to the lining). The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, over the years and is presented in lovely condition – there is a crack in the barrel threads (not uncommon on this era of production) but the cap attaches securely and the threads are stable.

We’ve always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80’s and then for a second time in the 1990’s – they’re now more difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.

The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill. If you’d rather use it as a fineliner, then you’d simply have to purchase the relevant refill – these are widely available online.

The clip ring features both serial number and Germany markings.
