Montblanc Meisterstuck 162 LeGrand Bordeaux Rollerball Pen

Out of stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck Bordeaux Resin Gold Line 162 LeGrand Rollerball Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and paperwork – confirming first purchase on 8th August 2000. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, and is presented in overall very good condition – the gold trim is bright and the Bordeaux precious resin has a deep shine. There is a fine crack in the the threads, but the cap still attaches securely and there is a pinhead sized hole in the barrel (although this looks like it has always been there).

We’ve always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80’s and then for a second time in the 1990’s – they’re now more difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.

Both Germany and serial number markings can be found on the clip ring.

The important details are as follows…

– Very Good Condition

– Germany and serial number markings present

– Montblanc Presentation Box

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
