Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Sailor Ryokkyo Ebonite Green Echo Naginata Togi Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition. Only 400 were produced and this is number 226.

 

 

 

 

The pen is crafted from laminated ebonite and the pattern is inspired by of Nagano’s tourist attractions, the Mishakaike Pond. The bright green of the trees reflecting on the water gives it the name ‘Green Echo’.

 

 

 

 

The pen is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds. It’s fitted with a 21k M Naginata Togi nib, which enables you to write with a thin line when holding the pen at a more vertical angle, but then a thicker line when lowering the angle. It’s ground to produce a thicker line on the cross stroke and thinner on the down stroke.
