Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Pelikan M710 Toledo Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pelikan presentation box and booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition – a few tiny marks to the presentation box.
The Toledo pens from Pelikan truly are pieces of art – the pens take their name from the town of Toledo in Spain, where the technique of working with damascus steel was perfected. The Pelikan Toledo uses a base of sterling silver and the M710 version then doesn’t have gold-plating over the top… it’s a rarer version and this older style was produced from 1992-199. All the engravings are made by hand and as such only 200 pens can be produced by Pelikan each month.
The pen is fitted with an 18c broad nib (PF nib marking) and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
The important details are as follows…
– 18c Broad Nib
– Piston Filling System
– Pelikan Presentation Box
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
