Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Parker Duofold Centennial Jade Green Fountain Pen, which comes with its Parker presentation box (including outer) and unstamped booklet. The p The barrel code of IIY dates this as a Q2 1996 pen (the year the MKII pens were introduced).

Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests.

The Jade Green is one of the most elusive MKII colours, with it being introduced in 1996 and discontinued in 2001. It’s crafted from a deep green resin, which has black and off-white flecked elements. The trim is gold-plated.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
