Thanks for looking at our listing for this Onoto Magna Claret Prototype Fountain Pen, which comes with its leather Onoto pen tube (including box), information leaflets and certificate – confirming first purchase on 5th March 2023. The pen has barely been used and is presented in overall wonderful condition. This was a prototype, with the pen being number 00/200.

The barrel and cap are crafted from glorious resin which features swirling black and red tones (the additional barrel weight is fitted). The trim is sterling silver, with the clip then being gold-plated (so a vermeil finish).

The pen is fitted with an 18k #7 medium nib. It’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
