Thanks for looking at our listing for this Onoto Flying Scotsman Apple Green Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Onoto lacquered presentation box (including outer), information leaflets and certificate – confirming first purchase in February 2024. The pen has barely been used and is presented in essentially as new condition. Only 100 pens were produced and this is number 58.

Released, in conjunction with the National Railway Museum, to celebrate 100 years of the Flying Scotsman, which is arguably the world’s most famous steam locomotive. The apple green resin reflects the iconic colourscheme and the bronze elements come from the axle boxes on 4472, which were in use until her recent restoration. The cap button features the smoke door, with the cap band depicting the wheels. The barrel button shows the bogie wheel and the clip is shaped like a coupling rod.

The pen is fitted with an 18k size 7 fine nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
