Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montegrappa F1 Speed Podium Black Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montegrappa presentation box (including outer), polishing cloth and unstamped information leaflet. The pen has barely been used and is presented in fantastic condition. Only 372 were produced and this is number 051.

Released in 2022, the pen is finished in black lacquer, with the section and cap being carbon fibre. The pen has a real heft to it and sits wonderfully in the hand. The trim is gold-plated.

The number 372 was chosen as a nod to the highest top speed ever recorded in F1, 372.6km/h by Juan Pablo Montoya in 2004 at Monza. The end of the barrel is crafted from scorched stainless steel, which represents the exhaust.

The pen is fitted with a a fine size #6 14k nib. It’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
