Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montegrappa Extra Yellow Celluloid Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montegrappa presentation box (including outer) and unstamped information leaflet. The pen was only inked once to test and is presented in virtually as new condition.

The cap and barrel are crafted from glorious yellow celluloid, which is now no longer available – it’s such a vibrant material, with myriad of tones. The section and trim are sterling silver. This is one of the early examples, with the historical Montegrappa logo engraved on the barrel.

The pen is fitted with an extra fine size #8 18k nib (this is the older bi-tone version) and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
