Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Montegrappa Extra 1930 Riverwood Fountain Pen, which comes with its large wooden Montegrappa presentation box (including outers), unstamped booklet, sealed bottle of ink, certificate and polishing cloth. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition… there is maybe 1mm of movement in the piston before it engages, it makes no difference to the usage of the pen but we simply mention it for a complete description. Only 100 were produced and this is number 007.

This is a fascinating limited edition from Montegrappa – based on the Extra 1930, the barrel, cap and cone are crafted from 4200 year old river oak. It has such a tactile finish and it’s fascinating to see the beauty of this ancient material. The trim and section are sterling silver.

The pen is fitted with a medium size #8 18k nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
