Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Victor Hugo Writers Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation boxe (including outers) and unstamped information booklet . The pen has barely been used and is presented in virtually as new condition – the EF sticker, denoting an extra fine nib, remains on the cone. Only 9800 pens were produced and this is number 1399.

 

 

 

Ever year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 2020 it was the legendary French writer, Victor Hugo.

 

 

 

The design of the pen is inspired by Notre-Dame, with the cap being decorated with gothic arches and the end of the clip is shaped like the clapper in a bell – recalling Quasimodo and the bells of Notre-Dame. Victor Hugo’s signature is engraved on the cap.

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with an 18k extra fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
