Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Marcel Proust Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and stamped booklet – confirming first purchase on 7th December 1999. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. Only 21000 were produced and this is number 12133. The B sticker, denoting a broad nib, remains on the cone.

Launched in 1999, as the yearly offering from the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Marcel Proust has rightly taken on legendary status. The eight-sided barrel is crafted from sterling silver and feature ornate engravings reminiscent of the time when Proust was at his most creative. His signature can also be found engraved on the barrel.

The pen is fitted with an 18k broad nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
