Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Marcel Proust Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer). The pen has barely been used and is presented in overall fantastic condition. Only 21000 were produced and this is number 03545 – the pen was originally part of a set, hence the larger set style presentation box. The M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone.

Launched in 1999, as the yearly offering from the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Marcel Proust has rightly taken on legendary status. The eight-sided barrel is crafted from sterling silver and feature ornate engravings reminiscent of the time when Proust was at his most creative. His signature can also be found engraved on the barrel.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
