Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition Voltaire Fountain Pen which comes with its book-style Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet – confirming first purchase on 23rd June 1998. The pen has barely been used and is presented in overall wonderful condition. Only 20000 were produced and this is number 14118.

Every year since 1992 Montblanc have released a Writers Edition and in 1995 they chose Voltaire. The black resin represents the unfathomale nature of his thoughts with the vermeil (gold-plated over sterling silver) trim represents the richness of his possessions. His signature is engraved on the cap.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
