Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Patron of Art 4810 Octavian Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with a standard Montblanc presentation box (including outer). As with other POA pens, only 4810 were produced and this is number 4501. The pen has never been inked and is presented in overall excellent condition – it’s offered at a special price as there is a very small scrape on the corner of the nib, this won’t affect the writing experience.
Released in 1993 as the second pen in the Patron of Art series. The pen pays tribute to the Roman Emperor – Octavian Augustus, with the spider in the sterling silver overlay referring to Octavian himself and the web around him being his close associates.
The pen is fitted with an 18k extra fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
The important details are as follows…

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
