Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition.
This is a really lovely transitional model that dates from 1991 (potentially 1992) – it has features from the older generation of 146’s, which include the solid ink window and split ebonite feed, coupled with more current features like the bi-tone nib. The clip ring has a first generation serial number and W.Germany markings.
The pen is fitted with a 14k bi-tone fine nib and it’s a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows…
– 14k Bi-Tone Fine Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Serial Number markings present
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
