Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 165 Classique Bordeaux Vermeil Mechanical Pencil, which comes with an izods presentation box. The pencil has been regularly used over the years, but is still presented in overall very good condition.

We’ve always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80’s and then for a second time in the 1990’s – they’re now more difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.

This is the even rarer Vermeil cap version, with it having a base of sterling silver, which is then gold-plated. The clip ring features serial number, Metal and Germany markings.

The pen is fitted with 0.7mm leads.
