Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 165 Classique 75th Anniversary Limited Edition 1924 Mechanical Pencil, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pencil has barely been used and is presented in fantastic condition. Only 1924 examples were produced and this is number 1582.

The 75th anniversary writing instruments were released in 1999 to commemorate 75 years of the Meisterstuck range (launched in 1924). There were two main editions available, one being the unlimited yellow gold ‘special edition’ pens and then the rose gold ‘limited edition’ pencils, of which only 1924 examples were produced. This is the rose gold limited edition, which features a glorious mother-of-pearl snowcap.

To distinguish these anniversary editions from the usual offerings, you’ll find a second gold band around the top of the clip, in which is mounted a diamond and the inscription ’75 years of passion and soul’ – with the diamond being the ‘o’ in passion.

The pencil is fitted with 0.7mm leads.
