Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 165 Classique Bordeaux Vermeil Rollerball Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition – the Made in Germany sticker remains on the barel.

We’ve always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80’s and then for a second time in the 1990’s – they’re now more difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.

This is the even rarer Vermeil cap version, with it having a base of sterling silver, which is then gold-plated. The clip ring features serial number, Metal and Germany markings.

The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill. If you’d rather use it as a fineliner, then you’d simply have to purchase the relevant refill – these are widely available online.
