Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition.
This is a simple pen to date, as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font), so it’s from 1991-92 – likely 1991 with it’s W.Germany marking. The pen has the first-generation plastic peed.
The pen is fitted with an 18k bi-tone oblique broad nib and it’s a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows…
– 18k Bi-Tone Oblique Broad Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Serial Number markings present
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
