Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and information booklet. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition.

This is a simple pen to date, as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font), so it’s from 1991-92. This is likely a 1991 pen due to its W.Germany clip ring mrking.

The pen is fitted with an 18k bi-tone extra fine nib (first generation plastic feed) and it’s a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
