Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 147 Traveller Gold Line Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) black leather Traveller pouch and unstamped service guide. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition – a little wear to the gold-plating on the clip ring and a couple of small marks on the cap.

The 147 Traveller, if you’re not familiar with it, is a LeGrand (146) sized fountain pen, but the filling system is cartridge only. It’s a very clever design, as to load the cartridges you simply unscrew the end of the pen, which then reveals an internal metal holding cage, where you can then slot in the cartridges.

The serial number can be found on the clip ring.

The pen is fitted with a 14k medium bi-tone nib and it’s a cartridge only filler.
