Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition – there is some light staining to the ink window, but this is a minor point and the piston mechanism has been serviced by us.
The pen originally dates from the 1980s (monotone nib, W.Germany clip markings and solid ink window) and these older 146s are just a delight.
The pen is fitted with a 14k monotone medium nib (split ebonite feed) and it’s a piston filler, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows…
– 14k Monotone Medium Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– W.Germany markings present
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
