Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used over the years, and is presented in lovely condition – there is a very fine hairline mark visible on the serial number photo. It’s worth noting that under normal viewing conditions, rather than a macro shot with studio lighting, it’s almost impossible to notice.

The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. It’s also simple to date, as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font) – which confirms it as a 1991-92 pen.

The pen is fitted with a 14k oblique medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
