Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Great Characters John F. Kennedy Limited Edition 1917 Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box, book of quotes and information booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in as new condition. Only 1917 were produced and this is number 1461.

 

 

 

 

John F Kennedy requires no introduction and is probably one of the most famous figures in recent history. This pen includes so many nods to both his passions and career – one of his biggest loves was sailing and the surface of the pen evokes the boats rigging. The Naval Star that adorns the cone of the barrel is a nod to his time in the US Navy, as are the colours red, white and blue. The engraving round the cap ring is taken from his successful 1960 presidential campaign – “a time for greatness” and his iconic initials, JFK, can be found on the clip.

 

 

 

 

 

The finishing touch is the snowcap logo being crafted from moon quartz, which elevates the usual look of the resin version to a completely different level. The limitation number is engraved on the cap ring.
