Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this ever wonderful and legendary Montblanc Ernest Hemingway Writers Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with a standard Montblanc Presentation Box (including outer). The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition – there are two tiny hairline marks at the base of the cap (most people wouldn’t notice them) and these are shown in the photos. These are common on the Hemingway and it doesn’t affect attaching or removing the cap at all.
The Montblanc Writers Limited Edition Ernest Hemingway pens need no introduction, but if you’re not familiar then here goes… every year Montblanc release a Writers Edition and the pen that started it all off, in 1992, was the Hemingway. There are so many reasons why this pen sits right at the top of many Montblanc fans wishlists… often they include the stunning Coral-hued barrel and dark brown resin cap, or the fact that it has so many nods to historical offerings from Montblanc The cap and clip are reminiscent of the pens that Montblanc were offering back in the 1930’s (the iconic 139!) and to many collectors you simply can’t get better than the historical offerings.
The pen is fitted with an 18k fine (slightly towards a medium) nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
The important details are as follows…

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
