Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful ASC Bologna Extra Egyptian Series Nefertit Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its sarcophagus style presentation box. The pen was only inked once to test and is presented in virtually as new condition. Only 88 pens were produced and this is number 1.
The Nefertiti was the first release in the ASC Egyptian Series – the celluloid barrel and cap were produced in-house by ASC and it features myriad of sand-coloured tones, with it also being semi-transparent. The trim is gold-plated and both the main cap and section bands feature Egyptian hieroglyphics.
The pen is fitted with a size #8 14k medium ASC nib (ebonite feed) and it’s a pneumatic filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. You simply unscrew the end of the barrel, pull out the rod, and covering the small hole with your finger, plunge the rod back in towards the barrel to fill the ink reservoir.
