Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this ASC Bologna Extra Bespoke Burkina Celluloid Fountain Pen, which comes with a huge lacquered ASC presentation box, leaflet and stamped card. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition. Only 20 pens were produced and this is number 6.

 

 

 

Burkina celluloid (created from original OMAS rods) requires no introduction and is arguably the most sought-after pen materials on the planet. With its fascinating striped gold and black tones, it’s a material that simply has to be seen to be fully appreciated.

 

 

 

Released in 2020, from the remaing OMAS stock, the bespoke Africa edition includes a black enamalled African motif across the cap and section bands. The trim is rhodium-plated. Included with this pen is a large ASC lacquered presentation box (this wasn’t a standard offering), which includes space for this pen and then on the tray beneath a further seven spaces.

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with a large 18k Magiflex medium ASC nib and it’s a pneumatic filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. You simply unscrew the end of the barrel, pull out the rod, and covering the small hole with your finger, plunge the rod back in towards the barrel to fill the ink reservoir.
