Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Great Characters Miles Davis Special Edition Rollerball / Fineliner Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outers – some marks to the plain white one) and stamped booklet – confirming first purchase on 11th February 2025. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overll fantastic condition.

The Great Characters series has seen many famous names honoured by Montblanc and the Miles Davis is one of the most distinctive offerings.

Arguably the most famous jazz musician of the 20th Century, this edition has many nods to his life and career. The overall shape is inspired by the trumpet, with the clip featuring a finger button design. The ‘Heim’ mouthpiece that he used is represented by the cone, with the blue colour being a reference to his album “Kind of Blue”.  The pen is crafted from black resin, with the trim being platinum-coated.

The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill. If you’d rather use it as a fineliner, then you’d simply have to purchase the relevant refill – these are widely available online.
