Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc 163 Classique Solitaire Citrine Rollerball / Fineliner Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 11th September 2004 The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition.

 

 

 

The citrine pens are now very hard to come by as they were only produced for a limited period of time.

 

 

 

The citrine pens feature an almost pale gold plated barrel and trim, with the cap then being adorned with a wonderful citrine lacquer. These examples offer a completely different look to the other solitaire pens and really are the perfect combination of bright but never brash.

 

 

 

The appropriate France and serial number markings can be found on the clip ring, along with the word METAL which was used by Montblanc for Doue and Solitaire pens.

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill. If you’d prefer to use it as a fineliner, then you’d simply have to purchase the relevant refill – these are widely available online.
