Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Sailor 1911L Black Gold Fountain Pen, which comes with its Sailor presentation box (including outer) and information leaflets. The pen still remains sealed in its plastic pouch and as such is presented in new condition.

The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-plated – this is the latest version with the revised cap ring design and nib style. The metallic centre ring is infilled with resin using the Cloisinne technique.

The pen is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds. It’s fitted with a 21k M Naginata Togi nib, which enables you to write with a thin line when holding the pen at a more vertical angle, but then a thicker line when lowering the angle. It’s ground to produce a thicker line on the cross stroke and thinner on the down stroke.
