Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Boheme Doue Platinum Plated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (some small marks on the lining) and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 11th August 2006. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, and is presented in overall lovely condition – the F sticker, denoting a fine nib, remains on the cone.

 

 

 

 

The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes – essentially small, medium and large. This is the small, which is the version that features the retractable nib mechanism. As such it’s cartridge only.

 

 

 

 

The Doue features a synthetic, paramount cut, onyx gemstone on the clip. The barrel is crafted from black resin, which is engraved with a guilloche design. The cap is stainless steel, with the trim being platinum-plated.

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with a 18k fine nib and both France and serial number markings can be found on the clip ring.
