Description
Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Heritage 1912 Resin Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition – it has the light ring mark on the barrel where the cap screws on, this is a common occurence with this model. There is the tiniest ‘wave’ in the left tine of the nib, it’s very difficult to spot and it’s a lovely writer, but we’ve tried to capture it in the photos.
The pen is crafted from black resin, with the trim being platinum-coated. The style and operation of the pen is inspired by one of the first Simplo safety filler pens. One of the stars of the show is the mother of pearl lacquered snowcap logo, which sits proudly atop the pen.
The pen is fitted with a 14k broad nib and the 1912 uses a retractable nib mechanism. This is actually a two-stage mechanism, whereby you turn the cone to either reveal or retract the nib – then you pull out the cone to a second position, which controls the piston filling element (so bottled ink is your choice).

Lovely Condition
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
