Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Graf von Faber-Castell Pen of the Year 2008 Satinwood Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box . The pen has never been inked and is presented in wonderful condition. This pen is number 1624.

Graf von Faber-Castell are renowned for the quality and finish of their writing instruments and the Pen of the Year series is the ultimate expression of that workmanship. On this 2008 version, the barrel is finished in glorious indian satinwood, with 84 rectangles having to be individually hand-made to create the filigree herringbone pattern. A faceted citrine gemstone can be found on the barrel cone and all the metal elements are platinum plated.

The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
