Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Great Characters Walt Disney Limited Edition 1901 Rollerball Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and unstamped booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition (the protective tape remains on the section). Only 1901 examples were produced and this is number 0183.

The Great Characters series has seen many famous names honoured by Montblanc and the Walt Disney is a brilliant example.

The overall shape of the pen is inspired by the Monorail system, with the cap featuring lacquered multiplane camera. The engraving on the cone commemorates Snow White, with the technical specifications and date and time of the premiere. The barrel has a sanimation technique whereby you can turn it and the image changes.

The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill – if you’d rather use it as a fineliner, then you’d simply have to purchase the relevant refill. These are widely available online.
