Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck Around the World in 80 Days Classique Solitaire Doue Rollerball Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet – confirming first purchase on 12th August 2022. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition.

Taking its inspiration from the famous novel by Jules Verne, this Solitaire version is an incredibly striking writing instrument. Travelling by steamboat, from London to Bombay, the glorious blue gradient lacquered barrel reflects the waters of the Mediterranean. The cap has a milled design, featuring ocean waves, card suits and a cartouche with a laser engraved steam boat. Across the cap top it features the length of the journey, so 18 days from London to Bombay and a total of 80 days.

The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill. If you’d rather use it as a fineliner, then you’d simply have to purchase the relevant refill – these are widely available online.
