Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age Fountain Pen, which comes with its Visconti presentation box (including branded outer), polishing cloth and unstamped information booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition (it was only taken out of the box for photographs). We’ve three of these, all in the same unused, as new condition.

The Bronze Age is the Homo Sapiens model that started it all off! With its balsatic lava barrel and cap (from Mt. Etna) and bronze trim (it has a light patina!), these are always a delight to write with.

The pen features the patented power filler – you simply unscrew the end of the barrel, pull up the rod, place the nib in an ink bottle and push the rod back down to fill!

The pen is fitted with an 18k broad nib.
