Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Patron of Art 4810 Homage to Hadrian Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with it’s large presentation box (including outers) and stamped information booklet. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition. Only 4810 were produced and this is number 4047
In 2019, Montblanc honoured the Roman emperor, Hadrian, who rulled from 117AD to 138 AD. The barrel and cap are crafted from Egyptian basalt stone, with intractely engraved gold-coated trim that reflects his love of infrastructure and grand designs. The clip resembles a sheaf of wheat, with the main cap ring featuring medallions featuring Antinous and Medusa.
The 18k fine nib has a fine engraving of an apropos and the pen is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
