Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck Around the World in 80 Days LeGrand Solitaire Rollerball Pen, which comes with a standard Montblanc presentation box. The pen was a retail display pen, so has never been used – it’s presented in fantastic overall condition.

 

 

 

 

Taking its inspiration from the famous novel by Jules Verne, this Solitaire version is an incredibly striking writing instrument. Travelling by steamboat, from London to Bombay, the blue lacquered barrel and cap reflects the waters of the Mediterranean. The milled design, featuring ocean waves, card suits and a cartouche with a laser engraved steam boat. Across the cap top it features the length of the journey, so 18 days from London to Bombay and a total of 80 days.

 

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill. If you’d rather use it as a fineliner, then you’d simply have to purchase the relevant refill – these are widely available online.
