Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc 163 Classique Solitaire Citrine Ballpoint Pen, which comes with a its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped service guide. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in excellent condition.

The citrine pens are now very hard to come by as they were only produced for a limited period of time.

The citrine pens feature an almost pale gold plated barrel and trim, with the cap then being adorned with a wonderful citrine lacquer. These examples offer a completely different look to the other solitaire pens and really are the perfect combination of bright but never brash.

The appropriate Germany and serial number markings can be found on the clip ring, along with the word METAL which was used by Montblanc for Doue and Solitaire pens.

The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill, but if you’d rather use it as a fineliner, then just let us know at the point of purchase and we’ll swap the refill over.
