The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall fantastic condition - the protective tape remains on the section and the gold-coated inlay on the barrel. The barrel features coral-resin inlays, which is a nod to one of the distinctive colours used in classical Greek pottery. The gold-coated inlays are reminiscent of Achille's armour, whilst the champagne-gold trim is decorated with engravings that are a nod to the dactylic hexameter associated with Greek epic poetry.
