The Defoe takes its inspiration from his famous novel ‘Robinson Crusoe’, which was released in 1719. The barrel and cap are crafted from a swirling brown and black resin, with the cap being shaped like a feather, which is a nod to ‘Poll’ his parrot. The shape of the pen reflects the shape of the boats paddle draft.
