The fountain pen and mechanical pencil have never been used and are presented in virtually as new condition. The ballpoint has been regularly used, but is still presented in lovely condition. The pen takes its inspiration from his greatest work \"The Adventures of Pinocchio\". The cap shows him and his companions, the cricket, fox, cat and whale, with the screw on the clip being a nod to the joints of the famous marionette. Collodi's signature can be found engraved on the cap.
