The pen takes its inspiration from his greatest work \"The Adventures of Pinocchio\". The cap shows him and his companions, the cricket, fox, cat and whale, with the screw on the clip being a nod to the joints of the famous marionette. Collodi's signature can be found engraved on the cap.
