The pen has barely been used and is presented in fantastic condition - it is offered at a special price due to their being some ruthenium-coating loss on the nib (shown in the photos), which is common on the Defoe. The Defoe takes its inspiration from his famous novel 'Robinson Crusoe', which was released in 1719. The barrel and cap are crafted from a swirling brown and black resin, with the cap being shaped like a feather, which is a nod to 'Poll' his parrot. The shape of the pen reflects the shape of the boats paddle draft.
