Takumi means \"craft\" in Japanese and this version takes its inspiration from the 31-syllable waka (Poem 46) by Sone no Yoshitada. The poem translates to... Like a boatsman crossing the Strait of Yura, who has lost his oar, I do not know where this path of love will take me. The cap is finished in crimson urushi, with the barrel having a shimmering finish that includes elegant lines that sweep across the barrel, like the currents that drift through water.
