Yard-O-Led Viceroy Standard Barley Sterling Silver Ballpoint Pen

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Yard-O-Led Viceroy Standard Barley Sterling Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its wooden presentation box (including outer), polishing cloth and paperwork – confirming first purchase on 16th November 2008. The pen has been regularly used but is presented in overall lovely condition. There is a personalisation on the cap (shown in the photos).

If you’re not familiar with Yard O Led then here’s a very quick introduction. The company was founded in England in 1934 and has produced stunning writing instruments ever since. The name comes from the fact that the early patent allowed the pencil to hold 12 three inch leads… making it a yard of lead!

The pen has an intricate barley pattern, with the relevant hallmarks being found on both the cap and barrel.

The pen is fitted with a blue refill.
