Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Stipula Etruria Valtiberina Rocca D’Anghiari Fountain Pen, which comes with its Stipula presentation box and unstamped information booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in fantastic condition.
The shape of the pen is inspired by an ancient Etruscan amphorae – its a homage to a valley located between Tuscany and Umbria, with Anghiari referring to a small town. The barrel and cap are crafted from a resin which has myriad of orange and black tones. The Stipula leaf can be found on the clip.
The pen is fitted with a size #6 fine steel ‘V-Flex’ nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink. Although not like a vintage flex nib, it does offer interesting line variation.
The important details are as follows…
Condition: Fantastic
Box: Stipula
Nib: V-Flex.
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
