Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Sailor Rei Wajima Tamenuri Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden Sailor presentation box (including outer), kimono, polishing cloth and information leaflets. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition.
The name Wajima refers to the city on the east coat of Japan, which has a long history of producing wonderful lacquerware. The artist who created the pen is called Masanora Sumi. The barrel and cap are crafted from ebonite which then has a glorious deep red urushi lacquer finish.
The pen is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds. It’s fitted with a 21k medium nib.
The important details are as follows…
– 21k Medium Nib
– Wonderful Condition
– Sailor Presentation Box
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
