Sailor King of Pens Vermilion Red Urushi Fountain Pen – INKED ONCE

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Sailor King of Pens Urushi Vermilion Gold Trim Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Sailor presentation box (including outer), bottle of ink and information leaflets. The pen was inked once to test and is presented in virtually as new condition.

The King of Pens requires no introduction and the Urushi pens have to be seen to be fully appreciated. The barrel and cap are crafted from ebonite and then multiple layers of rich urushi lacquer are applied by hand. This example is finished in a deep red urushi, which really works well with the gold-plated trim.

The pen is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds. It’s fitted with a 21k medium nib and it features the new nib design.
